Traveling is Amazing.
He who does travel, does not know the value of men. Traveling is one of the most important things someone can achieve. If someone never travels they’ll never know the full extent of human accomplishments because they won't be there to admire the food, buildings, nature,animals, climate, people, and just everyday life in other cultures.
One big reason people travel is their sense of adventure, to be honest, if the world was not as explored as it is today, people would travel a whole lot more often they do now. People who travel and explore are usually perceived as mysterious in their motives. The same could be said for Christopher Columbus, except the mysterious part is a very different aspect of his life. The exact date of Columbus’s birth is not known. He was born sometime between August 25th and October 31st, 1451, in Genoa, then the capital of a self-governing area on the northwest coast of Italy. Sometimes traveling can cause unwanted things to happen to other people if you're traveling with large masses of people looking to change the places they're heading. The landing of Columbus on that tiny island would have devastating effects upon the lives of the Native Americans and what the Europeans would do in and with the New World would in turn greatly change life in the Old World. Sometimes things don't turn out the way we expected or even the the way they were supposed to or even guaranteed to. Columbus lived most of his last eighteen months unhappily in the city of Valladolid. He was well off and cared for by his family , but in an increasingly disturbed state of mind and ceaselessly agitating for the official recognition, money and prerogatives that had been promised him. What Christopher really wanted were these things. He didn’t even think of the amazing things he had done while he was traveling. He was blind to his accomplishments and only sought his reward.
