The experiences that comes to mind when I think of something that will influence my academics and goals at Colorado Christian University is what happened during this previous year. I had previously transferred from Gulf Coast to a different college, Post University, doing online classes for the same degree that I am currently pursuing. But this past year has been extremely hard on my family. In May of last year, my grandfather had a boating accident and was pronounced braindead. He and I were close even though he wasn't blood related, he was still my step-mom's dad and he was my family. That was the first hit I took. I didn't want to do any school work, I didn't want to even look at my classes. I didn't want to do anything.

In October, I had changed gears and had my grades back up, and was ready for what life had to throw at me, or so I thought.
By the end of November, I had found a full-time job with the podiatrist office that I currently work for. I was prepared for all the overtime with school and two jobs that I was about to endure for two weeks, until my husband started having problems. We ended up going to the
ER the night of my first day of my new job. My husband had tight chest pain, his blood pressure was extremely high, and he had lost control of his body at a certain point while we were driving home that night. Thankfully, he didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. But the doctor said that if we did not go in when we did, he could have and it would have been fatal. That was what took most of my mind off of school. I worked both my jobs while I worked my two weeks out with one of them, then I took care of my husband and our son who had come down sick at the same time. I ended up failing both classes that I was taking at the time and took a semester off to recoup from the issues that had fallen upon us. When I went back, I was told that I had two
semesters to get my GPA back up to standard due to the circumstances of the reason it was
He had an arrhythmia. Our guy started feeling badly one morning, and ended up going to the hospital. This is when he started contemplating what would happen if he were to die. He thought through where he wanted to be, what he wanted to be wearing, and what he wanted to have with him.
...omach. At first, the doctors thought that McKinley would recover from his wound. After a couple of days, he was able to sit up and take food and liquid for the first time. But a couple of days later, McKinley went

The spring 2015 semester at Mount Wachusett Community College was my first attempt at higher education and all four of my classes ended up being online. Initially, only three of my classes were web-based, but being without a vehicle and facing winter weather, I dropped a class in Leominster and picked it up again as a cycle two course. I had not realized that this would be my only option. Had I spoken with an advisor, I may have been able to get into an already established class and catch up. Perhaps not, but the cycle two class didn’t turn out to be as difficult as I’d anticipated. Overall, I have to say that online learning was a good choice for me.
This was basically me on my freshman year of high school, I was so hooked into auto mechanics that I was losing track of everything that was going around me. I was spending so much time everyday working outside in cars, that I almost didn’t have time at all to do school related work or things that I was responsible for.
I continued school. It was hard, and I finally decided to leave school and move forward with
I was required to pass first semester with a D or higher but instead I failed. To be completely honest I was just very last first semester I rarely did any of my assignments that were assigned to me. I didn’t do any of me essays that were also a very big part of my grade. I being lazy cause me to be in summer school this year.
Feeling ill for most of the day, my husband had left work early. While driving home, he'd broken out in a sweat. His heart raced, his stomach felt queasy, and he had chest pains. Afraid he'd had a heart attack, he drove himself to the hospital's emergency room where they immediately checked him out.
In the midst of that, I did some work that intrigued me in the computer area and decided to take a proficiency test to determine if this field was a suitable fit for me and I passed with flying colors. Already a student at DePaul, I decided to apply for the Computer Career Program certification to get a jump start on getting a new position. With the 9-month program complete, I found a new job several months later. I now needed to take a step back and decide where I wanted to go with my schooling and degree. While I could have continued to pursue a degree in IT, I decided to enroll in the SNL program instead to take advantage of my work experience and obtain a liberal arts degree. With numerous breaks in between classes, I always came back when things settled

Eventually, I made it to the office to find out that my teachers were nice enough to let me make up all the homework. My teachers gave me so much homework it felt like I was writing a book. I had about ten sheets per class that my teachers needed me to turn at the start of class. I stayed up for hours doing homework. Meanwhile,
