Introduction
Enterprise computing has evolved rapidly over the years and have brought ever increasing benefits to the organizations. They have also made the software systems complex and bulky. With the increased complexity of the software products, the infrastructure required to maintain and support the software have also increased. This ultimately drove the project costs higher. To encounter the growing costs, there have been several architectures that were proposed. One such solution which has gained enormous traction among the software users in the recent past is Cloud Computing. It can be called as a method of offering IT services on pay-as-you-use model. When the entire software is provided as a service, it’s called as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This particular architecture has become more prevalent across organizations, resulting in a variety of implementations. In order to discover its business impact and how SaaS can effectively reduce the costs for small organization that does not have the capital and resources to maintain an IT team, it is required to do an analysis of the benefits and risks associated with SaaS. This paper focuses on the following research question, “Is SaaS a cost effective solution for small organizations?”
About the Organizations
Background:
Over the years organizations surfed through developmental stages when it comes to its computing power. Although each stage brought various benefits to the organization community, there has been frustration and dissatisfaction factor...

As its core essences cloud computing is nothing but a specialized form of grid computing and distributing computing’s which various in terms of infrastructure , deployment, service and Geographic’s dispersion (Veeramachanenin, Sepetember 2015) the cloud enhance scalability, collaboration, availability , ability to adapt to fluctuation according to demand accelerate development work and provide optional for cost reduction and through efficient and optimized computing. (BH kawljeet, June 2015) cloud computing (CC) recently become as a new paradigm for the delivery and hosting of services our the internet. There are mainly three service delivery model Software as Service (SaaS) required software, operating system and network is provided or we can say in SaaS the customer can access the hosted software instead of installing it in local computer and the user can access these software through local computer internet browser (e.g web enabled E-mail ) the user only pay and the cloud service provider is responsible for management or control of mobile cloud infrastructure some of the company which provide such service are Google, Microsoft , Salesforce ,Facebook, etc…..Infrastructure as Service(IaaS)the cloud provider only provide some hardware resources such as network and virtualization is
A great deal of information was covered this week such as, the necessity in which businesses need to effectively plan and set objectives, the strategies utilized and how they are executed to obtains results, and how managements decisions can potentially affect those results. Although each topic covered was found to be interesting and informational, there was something in particular that struck a chord, which was how business establishments have to be flexible and adaptable and in many instances plan and change their strategies of today, in order to keep up with the evolving technology of tomorrow. Something that one often thinks about is how individuals use technology today and how companies that provide that technology are adapting. For instance, author Richard Daft of the textbook, Management, 12th ed. brings to light the potential issues that Intel is facing explaining “As another example of an external threat, Intel, whose microprocessors power most PCs, is being hurt by the decline in demand for personal computers as more people turn to tablets and smartphones.” (Daft, 2016, pg. 259). After reading this, one wanted to take a deep look into what it is exactly that Intel intends to do to overcome this obstacle and found some
Technology will continue to improve therefore each organization has the opportunity to advance and take advantage of the new techniques and methods that are being used by successful organization that has proven themselves by continuing to provide excellent services for the community and each employee. Now when you see an organization that didn 't make it you ask yourself the question were they ready did they do all that could have been done to save the business, did they hire the correct people, was training offered to all employees, The factors that were stated will make and break an organization if these steps aren 't followed it could lead to failure in the organization.

Cloud Computing is an exciting concept because it can do much more than just executing and streaming your data from one place to another. It is successful through its flexibility to meet each company's needs. Cloud Computing is generally broken into three main categories b...
Symantec’s recent State of the Information survey – conducted over 38 countries worldwide – found that subject matter experts expected their data storage needs to increase by 178% over the next year (Kilpatrick, 11). This is a truly astounding number that has already been realized. Data storage needs continue to expand yearly at similar levels. How will small business keep up financially with a burgeoning infrastructure? What about paying the cost required to ensure security, both in terms of specialized equipment and qualified personnel to operate it? Can small business successfully identify, mitigate, and accept risk associated with their stored data? According to Shailja Tripathi, a research scholar at the Facility of Operations and Systems, IFHE University, in Hyderabad, India, public cloud computing may be the answer to these questions for small businesses. Public cloud computing can access infrastructure, network storage, operating systems, and applications online from a centralized, third-party facility that specializes in those services. This view is also shared by Renee and Darren Conner, President and Director of Product Development respectively, at PensionPro Software in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. If an internet connection is available, this resource is available for use. One only needs to look as far as Google Apps to see this in action. Expanding the use of public cloud computing will drastically improve future cybersecurity postures in small business.
From our research we can describe Cloud computing as both a platform and a type of application. The Cloud computing platform offers, configures, reconfigures and provisions hardware and software services as needed. Server equipment in the cloud can be physical or virtual machines. Clouds in actuality also offer storage area networks (SANs), network equipment, firewall and other security devices. Cloud computing refers to applications that are not stored or ran from the local systems, but that exist on the cloud and are accessed remotely. Any user with suitable internet connection and standard browser can access a pool of virtualized computer resources in the cloud.

Modern day organizations have to constantly change to meet the demands of customers. Workers have to change with the organizations to be able to perform new functions and complete new sophisticated tasks.
Conversely, (O’Brien and Marakas, 2008) suggests that, with the above mentioned benefits of integrating information technology in an organization, there are some demerits. For example, the price for implementation of information technology is often high; especially the cost of hardware not lea...
Organizations and individuals have to strategically position themselves in order to take advantage of the growing technology and achieve business competitive advantage while at it (DeHaven 2010 pg 1). Technology has enabled globalization; where ideas, products and services have been shared. This has promoted foreign businesses thus helping different economies all across the globe. Different organizations and individuals have realized that technology will keep growing and changing and the best strategy will be to adapt it other than holding to rigid ways of doin...

Advances in technology have changed businesses dramatically, in particular the communication and information technology that are conducted in firms, which changed the appearance and pace of businesses over the past few decades. ICT in particular, has evolved a lot over the past 30 years; important information can be stored in computers rather than being in drawers enabling information to be transferred at a greater volume and speed (Guy, 2009). ICT has also expanded various forms of telecommunications and workload conducted in businesses, internet examples of this include: e-mails can be used to communicate with others...
