A team staring the more prominent female heroes in the Marvel universe is enough to intrigued and excite readers. Centering on Singularity, the primary arc of this new A-Force series focuses on the mysterious quantum being gathering the other members of the A-Force to combat the Antimatter, the counterpart of Singularity. Given that she exists outside of space and time, Singularity isn't affected by events of the Secret Wars which ended with a new universe established by the combination of the 616 Universe and 1610 Ultimate Universe and hence isn't aware that there is no A-Force in this new universe. What's interesting here is that while characters like She-hulk, Captain Marvel and Medusa are well known, the story manages to subtly serve as an introduction for them to newer readers without too much of a segue way from the overarching plot. …show more content…

These three heroes all have very strong and dominant personalities which we have seen in prior series but somehow, this arc manages to breathe a fresh new life into their conflicting personalities which makes is very entertaining to watch even though we already know how it will play out. It is very rare that something known can still surprise and intrigue me which is a true testament to the writes of this arc. One of the main problems I have with this arc was the huge amount of dialogue within each page. I get that they have 6 main members to focus on but most times, it just felt a little too much and overloaded most of the scenes. Whether it is the constant back and forth between self-dialogue and actual dialogue or the many different colors for the textboxes, it definitely made me a little confused at times. All that said, it is not exactly a major flaw given that more dialogue almost always equates to a more wholesome and complete
