As of now, there are 7,632,819,325 people that live in the world. Every individual has their own unique ways, but everyone has similarities to one another. Even if it’s something little like your personality or the activities you like. For instance, Cardi B and Brewster Rawlins are alike in a special way. They both had a painful childhood, but not letting that get in the way, they still found something good to do with their life. Poverty and abuse can motivate people to make decisions that could lead to success and happiness. While stripping Cardi got the world’s attention through social media. She soon realized this was her way to prosper. According to Cardi B Biography, “Cardi soon grew to success starting in 2015 when she appeared on VH1’s reality show Love and Hip Hop”. While being on the show for a while, Cardi’s music life came more of a big deal. Leaving the show in 2017 “ she released her No. 1 single "Bodak Yellow" through Atlantic Records, and she followed with her debut album in April 2018. “ Another thing that can cause a painful life is alcohol. Alcohol can impact a person’s decisions causing them to make irrational or horrific decisions. An example of poor decision making due to the over consumption of alcohol would be Brewster’s Uncle. Because of his Uncle Hoyt’s carelessness, he would physically and mentally abuse Brew. He would expect the abuse and he also knew the consequences of his actions. Just like in the book “ Bruiser By Neil Shusterman “ it states “ I leave the bathroom, my Uncle hurls a warning scowl to remind me that mouthing off will buy me a world of punishment” (pg.113).
