In journalism there are eight roles, five of those roles consist of the journalist, news presenter, editor, photographer, and the meteorologist. A journalist is someone who is responsible for collecting, writing and distributing the news to the general public in an effort to keep them informed about the day to day events that take place locally, nationally and internationally.
One really important, well known and most respected journalist is Brian Douglas Williams. The thing about not only meteorology, but all science is that it isn’t all just in a lab doing paper work and mixing substances in different test tubs and beakers. Storm Chasing is a part of meteorology, chasing tornados and hurricanes and basically risking your life by getting extremely close to a monster created by nature is definitely insane. And what are they doing it for? To collect data! Meteorologists record the wind pattern and other details about the storms in order to predict its next route and whether it is going to get stronger or die down
