No Bottled Water in Waunakee

Did you know that the bottles of water you throw away every day take more than 2,000 years to decompose. That water you buy in a plastic bottle has acid in it and other bad chemicals. So why do you drink it? Because no it’s not any more convenient than your clean tap water, and no it’s not healthier or better for you it’s worse! We live in Waunakee and we should consume the best water possible so others will too. Waunakee should ban bottled water because it has way more cons than pros. There are so many reasons why bottled water is horrible and you will certainly agree. For example “MBG Planet” states most bottled water has acid in it!
First of all it’s not just the water in your plastic bottle, it’s the bottle too! According to “MBG Planet” If you leave your bottled water out it the heat or in room temperature heat too long chemicals like “Endocrine Disruptors” will seap out of your bottle and into your water. Do you know how bad that is for you! Sense people have been figuring out that those bottles aren’t good, companies have started to label them BPA-Free. In most cases, like Waunakee we use local water sources to grow our crops and all those healthy foods like carrots, apples, and strawberries. But the food you think is healthy is not all that healthy, when some farms start using the same water from bottled water and add other chemicals into that water to make them grow larger and faster. So if we ban bottled water or at least reduce the amount we purchase/consume that can help with our “healthy” foods we all love! Yes, I know that people think that bottled water is good because it has vitamins or something like that in it that is good t grow food.
