When I first arrived at the Bland Correctional Center for the prisoner interviews, I was very nervous but excited at the same time. I was interested in learning the viewpoint from the prisoners and how they adapted and lived in the prison for an extended period of time. I was also interested in learning what offenses the prisoners had made, and if they seemed like they would change that behavior once they are released back into society. My comfort level on a scale from 1-10 was around a 5 when I first started talking to the prisoners, and by the end of the interviews, my comfort level was a 9. When talking with the prisoners, it was fun to learn about their past experiences and that they were looking to change their lives for the better. A
