This text portrays how women can be strong and powerful. Women outnumber the men in the video and also have only black women dancers. There are a lot of black people, but there other races. Bringing the pride of black people and their culture. Black women in power, they are all wearing nice clothing matching Beyonce in every dance routine. There are only the police officers that are white, showing black people are most dominant in this video. There is a connecting with two generations, there appeared a lot of black children. There are black women in power always dressed nice, even in a place people don’t consider nice. This text shows black women and showing that they can be powerful no matter where one come from. The master plot of the music video “Formation” is women’s power. This is because it shows how women can be dominant while being sexy and feminine. The plot line in this video is power because of no matter if she is not a male or white she can still be dominant. The transition between each scene was abruptly, yet uniquely put together. The audience can see the setting and the reality of how New Orleans is flooded and see a normal town. Having a town that is relatable while having this power over wardrobe to many others makes it look interesting and realistic. This complete opposite shows that these two different places can go with one another and be looked as inspiration to be yourself. I personally relate to the characters because they are minority and they are mostly women. I cannot relate with because they appear to have a higher standard of living, but still a mixture of a country.
