In time people have grown to want to be successful. Being successful can be defined in several ways, some people may think it is all about the money, and others could just believe in making their own dreams come true. It is difficult to know at a young age what makes your life more fulfilling. In the short handout given it shows two sides. One is about how acquiring as much as we can is success, the other one about how giving back to those who helped you is the real success, but which one is really the true success. Generally people see the way celebrities live, and want to live in a similar way because of everything they have. Wanting more is quite normal, most people do want more. For some people it is having it all, and for others it is about giving back. The true success to me is in giving back once you have achieved your goal in life. For example, as of now I cannot repay my parents for pretty much anything even though I would love to. My parents are my support just how the employees of the company supported Mr. Thompson. Without my parents I would not be as successful today, same goes for Mr. Thompson without his employees staying loyal to him for years, he would not have been as successful. At the end of the day you owe people for your success, no matter who you are. The least you can do is give them back some of what they gave you as long as you can afford to do so. This does not mean to buy everything in the world at first, and not be able to share anything because of all the expenses. This means to start an average life, and give back then. If things continue to work out, and you can afford to live a better life while giving back, you should do so. In giving back not many people can look down it because there is already a good intention in place, and it is the effort that counts. Giving back is closer to true success, and will be more difficult to achieve because of our society
