Being involved in a crash would definitely be very nerve racking. It would be so hard to be able to stay calm. The first thing you should ever do is stop immediately right where you are. You can have heavy fines if you flee at the scene of an accident. Youalways render aid to anyone who is injured. You are responsible for providing or calling for transportation for any injured people. Especially if it is apparent that they need treatment and even more importantly if they ask for it. If only the cars got injured, you should move them so they don’t obstruct the oncoming traffic. The next thing you need to do is exchange information with the others involved in the crash. You must provide information about your name and address and vehicle registration number and insurance provider. You should hit and run. This would be the best way to deal with a crash. This way, you would be able to drive away from all the cops and they probably wouldn’t be able to catch up to you. Especially if I was driving there’s no way theywould catch me. Also, if the other person if wounded, you wouldn’t have to be involved with all the drama. You wouldn’t have to call 911 or deal with any hospital bills. Especially if no one in your car was wounded, it would be best to just flee the scenebecause everyone you care about is fine. Also, you are going to want to make it home to your house as soon as possible to make sure you can tell you family what happened. You have to fill your family in that this other car came out of nowhere and it you. But luckily they were the only one injured so that’s too bad for them. The most predominate theme that occurred throughout Crash is that “human aren’t all bad” (Farris 357). The movie effectively depicted the theme by showing every characters’ situation from their perspective. Officer Ryan is a good example. Ryan was originally portrayed as a bad guy for molesting Christine and being racist when he pulled over the Thayer’s car. Ryan wishes to see the suffering of others during this specific scene, because he was suffering and agitated from not being able to get proper medical treatment for his father. Hixson, Creager and myself exitted Negrons car and made our way to the totaled vehicle to check the statues of the occupants and find a way to get them out as safely and as fast possible. Hixson dirrected to the passanger side of the vehicle and started trying asking if the older gentlement was okay, while trying to find a way in. For this movie assignment, I watched Crash directed by Paul Higgins in 2004. I chose this movie because I recently was in a car accident and thought it would be interesting to see how a crash relates to this course. Come to find out it made a very interesting point. That we all just walk past each other and don’t stop to recognize everyone around us. While viewing this movie, most people notice occurrence of the racial issues. Crash movie also holds gender stereotypes, and not only strong racial stereotypes. Gender stereotypes play a noticeable role in the film due to the fact that they are not mentioned or resolved as the racial matters are. Movie’s ending part holds hope for a world which accepts all forms of race, but the plot does not talks about gender, it does not bring hope for a gender which is accepted by world. Several stories take place in the movie crash during the period in Los Angeles. The women in this film share similar characteristics with each other although they are of different class and race. Most of the men also have similar characteristics, but in a masculine and controlling way compared to the women. All the characters in the movie are very narrow-minded and self-justifying. The difference in the movie is that men are macho and self-justifying of their masculine power while the women are self-justifying of their possessions and loved ones.

The weight of the car pressed down on the lower half of my body with monster force. It did not hurt, my body was numb. All I could feel was the car hood's mass stamping my body father and farther into the ground. My lungs felt pinched shut and air would neither enter nor escape them. My mind was buzzing. What had just happened? In the distance, on that cursed road, I saw cars driving by completely unaware of what happened, how I felt. I tried to yell but my voice was unheard. All I could do was wait. After viewing the movie Crash, in my opinion, the movie targets on going social problems that are constantly being swept under the rug to this present day. I deem Crash a race movie because it forces the audience to question their own moral values.

Last year I got involved in a massive car accident. It was the most terrified part of life. It was the moment. I will never forget in my whole life. Accidents happen all the time whether we know it or not. Some could possibly be avoided and others may not. I was a young girl, who didn’t truly grasp the concept of life and death. Every time I was upset about something, I would think about ending my own life. However, through one horrifying incident, that silly thought of mine completely vanished. Thanks to that specific mishap, the way I perceived life and death has in turn, changed entirely anew.
