The idea of students carrying firearms in college can be a shocking idea, and might even seem outlandish, but with Texas senate bill 11 passing in the near future this will be the case. There are many pros and cons to the argument. The cons to having students carrying guns in the school setting can be argued at great length, but there are two main points against students carrying in schools. The first main point is the fact that students could cause more harm at a school if they were to decide to go on a shooting spree. This point makes sense strictly due to the fact that having large groups of people in a single or relatively close space makes shooting people easier. The other states such as Florida which as close to the same gun laws as Texas and is in the process of passing campus carry as well. I could not care less about whether people are carrying guns to school or not there will always be someone to do something extreme one way or another. On one side of the argument the extreme is that with the law passed there will be more violence at colleges around Texas, and guess what? There is violence at all colleges maybe not gun violence, but violence is there none the less. Yet people think not letting guns to be lawfully carried on campus is going to stop someone who is going to preplan an attack of
