Breastfeeding has got a lot of benefits. Protection of the baby against disease is one of the benefits of breastfeeding. It is justifiable that in the breast milk there are always antibodies. The help of cognitive development of the baby is another benefit of breastfeeding. Just to add to the benefits mentioned above among others is that; better health has been seen on the children who are being breastfed hence having good health in childhood and adulthood. This also helps to reduce the risk of obesity. On the other hand, there are also benefits on the side of the mother. For instance, a mother who is breastfeeding has reduced the risk of uterine bleeding. It is also justifiable that there is a lot strengthening of the bones when the mother is breastfeeding.
