This article would be crucial to me when I use it in my argumentative essay. Based on my outline, I clarified that two main ideas to end obesity, by governmental and private sector intervention and by educating young kids about a healthy diet. The author, from page 8, states what are the current governmental intervention to fight obesity and what should be the future steps to end obesity. On the other hand, the author mentions several ways that education …show more content…

The study also shows various health impact caused by obesity such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and high cholesterol. Going beyond the facts stated in the article the author proposed various ways to end obesity, also by governmental and educational intervention. These ideas include changing taxes policy, changing food price, investing in healthy food chains, efficient use of advertisement and zoning. This article is useful because it provides me with facts about obesity as well as different approach to solve the problem.
