On May 16, 2017 I interviewed Antonio Cuevas about what it means to be American to him. Life for Antonio has been hard because he came to America with the ideal American Dream every Hispanic has. During his life he faced struggles with no knowledge of writing or reading but he came along way without understanding of life in this country. Mostly alone but with the help of a relative he learned how to do his own signature. Antonio started working in landscaping in which he later on started his own company making enough money to support himself and make a living for not only him but for his wife and three children what later on became his everyday life up until now. In the "Letter from a Birmingham jail", Martin Luther King Jr uses Thomas Aquinas to distinguish between human law and eternal law. He does this to explain the injustice that is all around the United States. The use of the Treatise of Law is used to justify King when he discussed that human's persons can know the eternal law and that human law is able to be "in harmony" with eternal law.
May 14, 2017 Francisco Lopez was interviewed a few questions on what it means to be American in the United States. Francisco answered truthfully and honestly to his own opinion. He grew up in Mexico and didn't know about much of anything else besides home and school. He only knew that he was leaving to find a new home and he knew he wouldn't see anyone he meet at school anymore, but he couldn't understand why grandma and grandpa weren't going or why dad came back all of a sudden. At the age of 6 he was on his way to America. Mother and Father talked a lot about how there were so many jobs to choose from. Now at the age of 30 he understand why his parents decided to leave their old life in search for a new beginning.

Aquinas' Arguments for the Existence of God In Summa Theologica, Question 2, Article 3, Aquinas attempts to prove the existence of God. He begins with two objections, which will not be addressed here, and continues on to state five arguments for the existence of God. I intend to show that Aquinas' first three arguments are unsound from a scientific standpoint, through support of the Big Bang theory of the creation of the universe. In the first and second arguments Aquinas begins by stating that some things change and that the changes to these things are caused by things other than themselves. He says that a thing can change only if it has a potentiality for being that into what it changes.

They feel like going to their homeland to receive more opportunities in education would be just as difficult then living as an undocumented student because they would have to face the struggle of trying to adapt again to a community in which they are not use to or have an memory of. Jose Antonio Vargas’s article on My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant is a writing about his childhood journey from the Philippines to the United States as an Undocumented Immigrant. Vargas writes this article to emphasize the topic of immigrant and undocumented immigrant in the United States.
