Anne Frank was a Jewish woman who had lived her young life during one of the worst times of life which is the Holocaust. This was a time where over 6,000,000 Jewish people had been killed. She was very hopeful that things would change and provided an inspiration to everybody who has heard her story. Her life left a huge legacy for people in which she displayed hope through the worst of times.

Anne Frank had to go through one of the worst events to ever occur in history, which is the holocaust. She found herself trying to keep her and her family safe from the terror. According to page 9 of the Scholastic article, it states how Anne Frank had went into hiding in an annex for years in hope that the Nazis wouldn't find their hiding spot. She claimed to have had hope that the allies would take back the Netherlands. This left an everlasting effect of bravery for the people around her. In page 8 of the article, the author says that they were scared to the point where they wouldn't flush a toilet with the fear of being caught. However, when this happened she had kept what is known as a diary in which she kept her thoughts in. This diary contained little details that happened in everyday life. According to the article Anne Frank wrote, "My sorrows dissapear, my courage is reborn". This quote shows how no matter how bad things got, she clung onto hope. This diary was kept even when she passed away at a Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Later it comes out in 70 languages for people to read all around the world. This left a legacy as her wishes in the diary came
