Many books are made into movies. This is a good thing because it brings stories to life for people who have trouble picturing things in their head. On the downside, some things in the story are changed in the movie version while others aren’t. This is the case with Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. I liked both the film and the book, but one edged past the other in bringing the story to life. There were a few similarities between the book and the movie. In both, Anne was upset when Peter brought his cat to the Secret Annex because she hadn’t gotten to bring hers. The scene where Anne and Mr. Dussel argue over who gets to use the desk is also present in both versions. On the other hand, there were also a couple differences. In both
