In the fall of 1836 he and Mrs. Bennett Abell had a deal that if she brought her single sister to New Salem he had to promise to marry her. When she arrived he was not to pleased with her because her skin was full of fat. Around seven months later he asked Mrs. Orville Browning to marry him but she said no.

Anthony learned to read at only three years old (Ghiglieri 1-25). Her parents believed in equal rights, so she was sent to one of the best Quaker boarding schools in Philadelphia (“Susan B. Anthony”). At the time, no girls got the chance to go to school and get an education like the boys in their family (Ghiglieri 1-25).

His mother, Elizabeth Hutchison Jackson was a strong independent woman. After Jackson’s father died she was able to raise their three sons while they lived with one of her sisters. When Andrew was nine years old the Declaration of Independence was wrote and signed. Then when he was only thirteen he joined the Continental Army as a courier. The Revolution hurt the Jackson family.
At this time, Eleanor was not even at the age of ten years old yet, and then also soon found out that her father had passed away as well. She began school at Mademoiselle Souvestre’s, and then finished her schooling at South Fields, England, where she began at the age of fifteen years old. She got married to her tall, handsome cousin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, in March of 1905. She had six children, one of whom died as an infant, by the year of 1916. Eleanor Roosevelt lived a very nice life, but sadly she died on November 7, 1962, in New York City.
Princess Diana was a very influential person in history and had major contributions to the world. Diana Frank Spencer was born on July 1, 1961 at 7:45 p.m. to the parents of Johnnie Spencer and Frances Roche (Sherry Beck Paprocki, 19). Diana had three siblings Sarah, Jane, and Charles; she is the second to youngest child (Sherry Beck Paprocki, 20). When Diana’s Grandfather died, her father got the title of the Earl Spencer (8th) (Sherry Beck Paprocki, 20). When Diana was six, her parents got a divorce and she moved with her mom, her mom enrolled her in many private schools like West Heath but she was never any good at school.
He was elected as governor of New York in 1898. By the time he was twenty-two years of age he had married his first wife, Alice Hathaway Lee. They were married in 1880, however this marriage was short-lived due to Alice’s untimely death in February 1884. She died two days after giving birth to their first child, Alice Lee Roosevelt. After the death of his wife, Mr. Roosevelt was devastated.
