Pop art is a movement that started in the 1950’s throughout the 60’s. In the early parts the pop art movement was very popular because everybody wanted to dance. One of the famous person in pop art was Roy lichtenstein. He was famous because his work had used a lot of parody and defines what kind of person he is. Also during the 20’s a lot of American artists trying to make music and money to take care of their family. Pop art is almost everywhere such as logos and labeling it was chosen by pop art also. Roy was the only artist to think about drawing a cartoon imagery. Roy did not copy out of a book or the internet he used a very technique to create that image. I know it took a long time like one week to finish this drawing. Roy had a lot of paintings and art pictures ,but i think this was the most talented picture i ever saw. The images was both made by two talented artists in the 1960s. The similarities of this picture is that they both are woman. Second is that this is a big picture drawn by the artist to show the world. Next the woman are both popular in some kind of way, they both have fans and people who like and love them. Between the two woman they both look like they have a I don't care attitude. The difference between the two women is that they have different color hair. Second the drowning women she is drowning and Marilyn Monroe is not in the picture. Marilyn Monroe is happy and the drowning girl is trying to find a way to stay alive.
