Analysis The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes

After I said hello to Mrs. Hudson and passed through the dark, narrow and tiny stairs to upstairs, I saw Sherlock Holmes was standing in front of the only window in the living room, and looked outside at the crowded streets as he usually did. “Watson, did you bring anything interesting for me today?” He turned with his violin, which is the one he rarely took outside of the box. “Well, I …” I was trying to say something, but I could not when I saw Irene Adler come out from Holmes’s room.

“Perhaps, Mr. Holmes needs to say something before I talk, I believe.” I smiled at Irene Alder as a gentleman usually does to the lady and stood up from the chair, “Mrs. Adler, how nice to see you here! Please sit.” Irene Adler smiled like a canary and her lovely voice came out of her mouth with a little cunning, “Thank you, Dr. Watson. You are so gentlemanly as usual.”

“How long since we meet each other last time? I believe since…” I was trying make my voice not obviously excited, controlled my facial muscles calmed down and started to surmised her relationship with Holmes. When a woman comes out from a man’s personal room in the early morning, the relationship they might have should be so obvious; however, this normal situational conclusion cannot be used on Sherlock Holmes.

“Do not try to use your pitiful brain to image any ridiculous thing that connects with hormone, Doctor.” Holmes cut the conversation and walked towards me, “How much do you know about Prince Harry?”

“Prince Harry? Well, the only thing I know about him is he’s going to marry minister’s daughter next month in the imperial palace.”

I heard that Prince Harry always light an incense in his room when he feels nervous. The butler exchanged the ingredients of incense to arsenic in advance and Princess Marry through the telephone told her brother something about throne, he must be nervous and light the incense. Then arsenic volatilize so far, Prince Harry would be arsenic poisoning and died if no one timely detection of his situation. It’s just a tragedy of royal scandal.”
