The Walking Dead is a phenomenon. Some may find it gruesome, some might find it silly. Others may actually take it a little to literally, however, there is one thing that can be agreed on, it is addictive. Fans have grown to almost feel like the characters are part of their extended family, and as such, do not want to see someone pivotal die.

It is coming though, and fans know it. But who will die? Who should die? While the series is based on the comic book, it should be known that there have been some major changes to the story to make the show more visually entertaining. One of which is the character of Carol. Carol died early on in the comic books, but in the television series, she has gone on much longer. Another character to consider when it comes to how close the show is to the comic book is that of fan favorite Daryl Dixon. Daryl and his brother Meryl were not in the comic books at all. There are a lot of other variations and differences, so while some people might know how someone is going to die because they read the comic book, may actually find they are totally wrong.

As the current season prepares for the finale, fans are expecting someone to die. In fact, it looks like Dixon has been shot, and fans know in the next episode Negan is introduced. Negan is likely going to kill a main character and fans saw that Dixon, Michone, …show more content…

Maybe his apparent death after falling into a mosh pit of Walkers earlier in the 6th season was a test to see how the public would react to him dying, but he is another super popular character. His love for Maggie and his devotion to his friends, Glenn, along with Rick and Daryl are the true leaders of the current group. A loss of any of the three would be the show jumping the shark. Comic book readers think they know what is going to happen to Glenn, but what was supposed to happen to Ford happened to Dr. Denise instead, so the television show does not fully follow the comic, as previously
