We have chosen this company because, it is a very old, highly esteemed and a prestigious company, which was established in 1886 by John Pemberton and is now renowned as the world’s largest beverage manufacturing industry. The company’s identity is its logo, which had been the same since 1886, the catchy tag phrase, the innovative technology they use to popularise their product and the quality of the beverage they produce. The first advertisement of Coca-Cola was published in the Atlanta Journal, 129 years ago with a tag phrase "Delicious! Refreshing! Exhilarating! Invigorating!"
During the early 90’s they marketed their products by using posters and banners. Later on, after internet came to existence, they had utilised almost all the social media network to advertise their product with very interesting concepts and ideas. In the year 2008, they had launched Coca-Cola Zero, a full-flavour, zero calorie beverage which had become highly popular among the adults. This product is available in 20 out of 28 of their markets. They have been focussing on extraordinary innovations and have reformulated Sprite, Fanta and Nestea which have up to 30% lesser calories than in 2010. They have been trying their utmost best to support a healthy living and hence have decreased the calorie content to about 16% when compared to 2011.
