According to Trull and Carter, once a minister loses his reputation and credibility his/her ministry is in jeopardy. The congregants, the associate ministers and the church are damage. The policy of this church requires that all members, pastors, ministers, volunteers, and deacons in this church maintain integrity. Sexual misconduct is not acceptable at any cost. I. Persons Covered A. People covered by this policy are all pastors, deacons, members, volunteers, and other representatives of the church. B. This policy covers those who are accused: 1. The accused by the alleged victim/accuser performing some service to or by an appointment by a committee group or board of the church. 2. Liability Insurance The church may be liable for harm and damages of the fault of the minister/or member. The church should make sure to have sexual misconduct put into the clause of the liability insurance. VIII. Volunteers Volunteers helping out in the church are subject to the same policy of the church. A criminal background screening will be done on all volunteers before they work in the church with children/teenagers. Before the volunteers or any member of the church work with children their background check has cleared. IX.
