The spoken or written message may take long to convey the meaning due to the presence of misunderstanding but the visual form always convey the correct meaning. Particularly the graphic photographs convey the whole meaning or the whole story itself, without the use of oral or written communication. Generally photographs are used under the following headings:- 1) Consumer press 2) Technical and trade publications 3) Organizations or company publications 4) Exhibitions and displays 5) Training and research 6) Record purposes Newspapers and magazines have different approaches to photographs. They need self- explanatory photographs which can at least relate to their feature stories. They need shots which add to the appeal of their feature pages. Better understanding of camera techniques and printing methods have resulted in much better results by photographers. A good photograph can tell the whole story without a word being spoken. Photographs are a great tool and can bring good results if used
There are many ways to get a point across or tell a story, but the ones that are mainly used are photographs and narratives. The differences between these two are in the details because they both tell a story. When you tell a story with a photograph you tend to add filters. Sometimes you even choose to capture only a certain part of the story with absolutely no context surrounding it. However, with a narrative you are able to go into complete detail, be it personal or factual, as well as be able to describe all of the story by also giving stories and examples. We see examples of this in the film “Born into Brothels” by Zana Briski and Susan Sontag’s “Regarding the Pain of Others.” Narrative is more important than image because it’s been shown that photographs lose their shock value, but a well narrated story will keep producing an emotional response no matter how many times is been told.
The reputation of WRSX has been very negatively tarnished because of the corruption scandal which has meant that there is a general lack of confidence in the company from the investors and stakeholders, and on a wider scale also to the detriment of signing any potential new clients. This means that there is an urgent need to develop a public relations strategy to remove the negative image and replace it with a re-branded positive image of WRSX.

Public Relations has acknowledged public involvement as the most essential factor of the practice since its creation. However, the means and methods of reaching the public remained significantly limited until recently. Over the last decade, public relations has welcomed the use of varied tools, including new media, to further their reach and cultivate relationships with its publics. The term “new media” encompasses a variety of non-traditional methods including social media. Social media has become a significant catalyst in the communication sector of public relations. The pairing of social media and public relations has helped create new opportunities for brands through two-way communication, social case study campaigns, and social sharing.
Companies have to distinguish themselves in different ways if they are to have a good reputation and this can be done through their communication strategies. In a time of crisis the company’s reputation is threatened and the communication strategies used will save or hurt the firm’s reputation. Before creating communication strategies, companies ought to identify their stakeholders. Appendix 3 illustrates the different stakeholders of a company.
The use of multiple images to propel a narrative allows the audience to learn something through the characters that are there. Bloomer (1990)’s study on visual perception also draws upon Newton (1998)’s concern, as he explores the multiple perspectives and views of the event. By using a series of images, the characters mood and tone can be established throughout different elements of what we see. This may be the people, the place itself or the items within the place. By having a narrative of photographs, the audience has an even deeper understanding of the reality of that moment or event as they see more than just the ‘big picture’ as

Public relations is everywhere today. It is a practice that has become an important aspect of any business venture. Whether an organization is not for profit, for profit, or governmental, they still need and desire to communicate their purpose within the community and public relations allows this to happen. There are several publics in which the PR practitioner must correspond with and each requires a different means of communication. Internal publics are inside the organizations such as clerks, managers, and stockholders. "External publics are those not directly connected to the organization: the press, government, educators, customers, suppliers, and the community" (Seitel, 2004). Each public plays a key role in the PR of the organization. The many functions of PR can also be categorized based on what purpose they serve the organization.
