Here is some insist on what the Vikings did during the age of discovery. How the Vikings were not just pirates, but was called the Scandinavian Vikings. They left their homeland to look for their fortunes somewhere else. They supported where they came from but also wanted others to know who they were. They came out looking from their homeland because it was over populated, so instead of looking for land, their looking for riches. Wonder why they waited so late until the 15th century, to become exist. They have no single ruler or central government, Instead they have different groups led by different cheifsven.

That is how we have sailboats today, because of the Vikings, wanted to sail across to the New World. They sailed from their homeland in Scandinavia looking for land, gold and treasure. During the ninth century, the Vikings moved around the shores of black and white seas toward the eastern Europe. One of major Europeans trades from the old world were glassware, silver, silk, and shells all came from different areas. The Vikings traded off Scandinavia furs, timbers and other goods with the Middle East, Mediterranean Sea and different countries. Some countries they traded or invaded with, also decided to become allies. The Norwegian Scandinavia's went to Iceland, where they settled in large numbers. In between A.D 989 to 1020, the Vikings had 90 men and women working as they lived by the Newfoundland shore. The women worked in different shops, while the men worked to repair the ships. While the men was working to repair the ships, women were working on weaving and ironworking. Also some of the items that they traded with, they made into priceless items. For example, luxury furs from a walrus that could be made out of different items so they can give or show to their king. While camping, they filled their boats with fur, skins, ivory and even live polar bear for trading to happen. That’s why they decided to destroy anything Christianity they saw. With the name calling, that was unnecessary, mean and just right hatred. The Vikings did a lot back in the Viking Age time and through 10th and 15th century. They want a name for themselves and wanted others to know what happened after they disappear or just decided to up and leave their homeland and live somewhere else. The Vikings had their men and women working on different things so that they could survive while they tried to get rich of off trading.
