Let me start with the fact that Mac is lonely. He whines all the time, you even say so yourself. Well, that is simply because, as www.dogbreed.info.com puts it, dogs are pack animals, meaning they have an instinct to live among a group. It is not natural for dogs to be alone and it can sometimes be hard for them to accept it. Yes, I’ve done my research. It would be such a help to animals if we adopted them. If we did this, we would also benefit. I have a list of the steps you need to take to complete an adoption at EDCR. First, you must complete an adoption application. Second EDCR will contact you to make sure you don’t have questions and to arrange a home visit. They will bring the dog to meet you and when you finally adopt them, they will bring him/her to your house for you. Now, I know that you are thinking that I am ungrateful, and I’m not! I simply want Mac to have a companion, Chloe and me to have a dog that we can play with, to reduce stress and bad behavior in the house, and for this last reason. According to www.doghealth.com, Children with pets tend to be more balanced and responsible as they mature. Should you have more than one child, having multiple dogs will give each child a special friend. They can learn to be responsible for their special canine friend which, in turn, gives them feelings of confidence and security. We all know that this does not apply to six-year-olds like Chloe, but I will share the responsibility with her if you so desire, to make her a better and more responsible person.
