I think that the Morston Marshes would get the least waves because it in in a bay and it is a marsh. The waves don’t have a long time to build up because it is a congested bay.

6a. A tide is the rise and fall of the sea level.

6b. The water would have been higher.

6c. The beach would have had more water and all of the space on the sand would have been filled with water. There wouldn’t have been as much space on the sand.

6d. I think that it was taken at high tide because there wasn’t much space on the beach and there wasn’t much sand.

7. Today, I went to the beach to look for whales. I thought I saw a whale, so I took a step forward to get a closer look. I didn’t see the crack between the two rocks and I slipped and fell down a hole. I couldn’t get out! The next thing I know, it was high tide! I was so nervous and the hole started to fill with water. There was no way I could get out and there was no way someone would see me. Next thing I know, the waves crashing at the back of the crack were so strong that they came back the other way and the strong current pulled me out of the hole. What an experience!

9. I would personally love to live on the coast because the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages. I love the idea of waking up in the morning and going for a nice walk on the beach. I love to go snorkeling and I love to swim. I’m not afraid of the ocean or anything living in the ocean so I would be out there everyday. I would prefer not to live right on the beach because of the land being eroded. Living one street down from the ocean would be best. Even though that land will still erode, it probably won’t in my
