A Sound of Thunder In the short story called A Sound of Thunder there is this guy, and his name is Mr. Eckles. And he pays a 10 thousand dollar fee to go back in time to kill a Tyrannosaurus Rex. He is scared because he does not know if he will come back alive. And there are four other men with Eckles, and their names are Travis, the Safari Leader; his assistant, Lesperance; and two other hunters, Billings and Kramer. Throughout all of the time travel going on there happens to be a lot of foreshadowing in the story.
