“Don’t look any further than your own reflection for a hero,”-Allyson Partridge. Heroes are all around us, they may not appear to be there, but they are. A hero is someone who understands the responsibilities they have when they achieve freedom. A hero helps stop crimes, save lives, and they also inspire others to achieve for greatness.
An example of a hero is a police officer, for his or her desire to stop crimes and save lives. Police officers put their lives at risk while they stop crimes or save lives. In order to do this, police officers have weapons, however they know what responsibility they have with the weapon they have. Also, a police officer is a hero because they know they have authority, but don’t ever use it in a bad manner. With this type of authority, a police officer knows his or her responsibilities which makes them a hero. Not only do police officers save lives and stop crimes, they inspire others to be heroes as well. For example, many children dream to be police officers just because the police officers set an example of a hero.
