As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu (Arabic: السلام عليكم) to all the lovely people that are witnessing this very special, spectacular, and noteworthy day. Words cannot and will not be able to describe how thriller, honour, and more importantly proud I am to stand in front of you all to present this speech. I am delightful to have such a great opportunity to speak from my mind today and I wholeheartedly thank you for that. Ladies and gentlemen, you are all part of a history making moment. This is a history, I shall say. I have been dreaming about when will this day come and forgive me if I get emotional during my speech. Karuizawa (a town in Japan) is not a typical town, but it is indeed very notable place to be, and I would like to take advantage of that. For the betterment of our school, community; I would like to propose to you a very traditional religious practice that all Karuizawa participate so we can develop sense of togetherness, belongings, and enhancements. For example, they make obligatory to give amount of money to charity so that the poor can use to buy new clothes and food. They provide free food in outdoors to show sympathy to each other. Moreover, many revere prayers and supplications are read during such festivals with complete sincerity. These types of festivals are an exhaustive demonstration of unity and equality among people. Ladies and gentlemen, let me throw a personal story in this. Back when I was a kid in Somalia, I used to look forward to the Eid (Islamic festival at the end of Ramadan); simply because it was the only day that my mom provides us what every child dreams of having.
