9/11 Conspiracy Theory September 11th, 2001; a day (like Pearl Harbor) that will live in infamy. The day that shook our nation more than a decade ago and whose aftermath still affects us till this day. The day that people remember distinctly, and those too young to fathom the atrocity still knew that damage had been done. Not only the US, but the world was silenced by the images that were being displayed on their TV screens. A day that took everyone by shock; or so we think. When the US government confidently told the millions upon millions of concerned citizens that it was a surprise terrorist attack, we believed them. And why wouldn't we? It had never crossed our mind that it could have been anything but a brutal attack on the US by some foreign power. The government said Al Qaeda and we complied. It was only years later that skeptics voiced their opinion; that the world listened to other theories besides the only one the government had told us. The idea of 9/11 being a conspiracy, that the US planned the attacks, gained popularity. Theories upon theories came out to the public and more and more people began to listen, more and more people became applauded. The patterns exist, and so do the conspiracies. The decision, however, is entirely up to you. Theories: Air Force was unable to reach the planes before they hit their destination because they had been told to stand down prior to the event Airplanes could not have made the towers collapse in a straight, downward motion unless bombs had been implanted and had been set off People inside building during the time of the attack had said that they heard explosions going off US Government claimed that heat and fire caused the building to collapse after the impact of the plane b... ... middle of paper ... ...ed next to the Twin Towers, was not hit by a plane yet it still collapsed. It had been said that fire caused the building to fall instantaneously. It has been scientifically proven that fire cannot cause metal framed buildings to fall to the ground as they did. President George Bush received information about the attacks on the US even before the attack had happened itself. He was informed by a secret service agent while he was reading to a group of elementary school kids. Bush had wanted to go to war with Iraq and Afghanistan long before 9/11 had happened. He had been pressing for it to follow through with the government but it was stated that such a war could not happen unless certain circumstances (such as an attack on US soil) made it. Bush had stated that he wanted to be the president when a day like Pearl Harbor would happen so he could go down in history.
There are a bunch of conspiracies in this world and there's a few on the tragedy that happened on September 11, 2001. One of the theories is that inside traders knew about the attacks before they happened. As said in an article, “in the days before 9/11 there was a huge increase in the number of put options purchased on their airlines, compared to the normal average daily volume.”(Davis) Before I explain what that means the article also mentioned, “ this huge increase in the volume of put options suggests that the people buying these put options knew in advance that 9/11 was about to happen.” (Davis) What the quotes are saying, is that a few days before 9/11, out of nowhere, there was an huge increase in the airlines, that were hijacked, stock markets. The conspiracy theory is that the government was aware of the attacks the entire time but because they were making profit, this did nothing about it.
The World Trade Center bombing triggered a response from the American government, but that response did not do enough to prevent future attacks against American targets. On February 26, 1993, at 18 minutes past noon, an explosion ripped through the underground parking garage of the Trade Center complex. The bombers rented a van, filled it with explosives and gasoline, and set the fuse,...
Bush had been eager to go to war with Iraq from the moment he stepped into office and the administration's focus was chiefly on Iraq even before the war in Afghanistan had begun. In Where Men Win Glory, the text reveals that “in November 2001, President Bush and Vice President Cheney had instructed Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to secretly create a detailed plan for the invasion of Iraq” (Krakauer 192).
The bombing of the World Trade Center was nicknamed “the Big One”, causing a sixteen alarm fire. FEMA’s Incident Commander (IC) arrived on the scene at 12:48 and began assessing what needed to be done: over 50,000 people needed to be evacuated, thick black smoke was filling the building and could not stopped, numerous people were trapped in elevators and personnel on the top floors were breaking glass raining it down on personnel on the ground.
9/11 was one of the United States biggest disasters. Killing nearly 3,000 people including the 19 hijackers that hijacked the planes that crashed in to the two world trade center towers. Many things could have been done differently on the day of September 11, 2001, that could have saved many lives, including the lives of many fire fighters, NYPD officers, and thousands of civilians. The biggest thing that could have been done to stop the attacks is if airport security was much more advanced and more careful with who got on the planes and what they had on them.
Stated by President Bush, “Americans should not expect one battle but a lengthy campaign, unlike any other we have ever seen.” Bush launched the War in Afghanistan to find and to bring to justice Osama bin Laden, head of the al-Qaeda organization that launched the 9/11 attack.
The attacks that occurred on 9/11 took place on September 11th, 2001. In this devastating event, four different attacks had taken place. Each of the attacks were carried out by terrorists. The group responsible for the attack was Al-Qaeda, a militant Islamist organization that is known to be global in present day. The group itself has a network consisting of a Sunni Muslim movement that aims to make global Jihad happen. Furthermore, a stateless, multinational army that is ready to move at any given time. This terrorist group focuses on attacking non-Sunni Muslims, those who are not Muslim, and individuals who the group deems to be kafir. Ever since the late 1980s, Al-Qaeda has been wreaking havoc all around the world. The leader of the group once being Osama bin Laden. Three planes were bound for New York City while another plane headed towards Washington, D.C. which was supposed to take out the U.S. Capitol. Two of the airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center. One plane hitting the North Tower and the other hitting the South Tower. The third plane had crashed into the Pentagon taking out the western side of the building. The last and final plane was focused solely on taking out the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. but failed due to passengers of the plane coming hijacking it from the hijackers. The passengers attempted to take out the hijackers but sadly failed, crashing it into a field in Pennsylvania. Throughout the content of this paper, we will be focusing on the role of media when it comes to 9/11; more specifically: how the media's coverage of 9/11 manipulated our feelings towards 9/11, how it affected Islamophobia in America, and the lasting effects of 9/11.
September 11, 2001 is a date in American history that will not be forgotten by American citizens. After the assault on both the Twin Towers in Manhattan, and the

There is speculation that there was an assassination attempt on George Bush the morning of the attack. When George Bush was on his morning jog, a van full of Middle Eastern men arrived at his hotel for a poolside interview and gave the name of a secret service agent that wasn’t heard of by another agent. When the men were redirected to the public relations office, the van turned away, ("An Interesting Day: President Bush's Movements and Actions on 9/11”). Bush was in Florida to promote his new education program. He was promoting it by listening to a second grade class read, “My Pet Goat”, at an elementary school in Sarasota, (“Global Research”). Bush claimed at a town hall meeting that he was aware of the first attack because he saw news coverage of it on a TV at the school (CNN.com-Transcripts). Many criticize Bush for his initial story to the attacks on the World Trade Center because the first crash was not broadcasted on live television therefore his story was considered false. Bush was also under heavy scrutiny for his lack of p...
In the article “Terrorized by War on Terror” by Zbigniew Brzezinski, is about the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. They hijacked four airplanes in mid-flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two the World Trade Center in New York City. The crash caused the buildings to catch fire and collapse causing the whole city to fill up with smoke and ash. Another plane destroyed part of the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane cr...
According to the Encyclopedia of New York State, at 12:18 P.M. on Friday, 26 Feb 1993, a powerful explosion shook the earth and knocked out the power in Lower Manhattan, New York. Most would say it felt like an earthquake. It had marked the beginning of a new phase of terrorism involving the killing of innocent civilians. A bomb that weighed somewhere between 1,200 and 1,500 pounds had exploded in the underground parking garage of the World Trade Center (WTC), the tallest building in the Manhattan complex. The explosion created the dark, smoke-filled stairways of the building and forced an immediate evacuation of about 50,000 people from the 110- story WTC that took more than six hours. The bomb had created a crater that was about 150 feet across and five floors deep and killed 6 people who were in the surrounding area. There were more than 1,000 people who were injured and treated for smoke inhalation. There was estimated $500 million in damages that day. (2005. Pg.1723.)
For most American’s their Tuesday morning on September 11, 2001 started off like any other week day. Families were doing their normal routine taking their children to school and heading off to work within hours may people would be participating in un- thought of duties. No one had any idea that by the end of the day what seemed like a normal Tuesday would forever be remembered in American history. Within minutes of 8:46 AM all Americans would know that this was not a normal Tuesday. This day would hold not one, but four attempted terrorist attacks by Al-Qaeda on the United States. Two attacks on the World Trade Center, one attack on the Pentagon, and a failed attempt on the White House.
9/11 was one of the darkest days in America, but some say the government could have been part of these attacks. For many years people have debated about the 9/11 cover up. This theory cannot explain why the government would do this. Once people understand why the 9/11 cover up is fake, they will begin to see the answer to their problem, could the government have done this? This conspiracy theory is wrong because, terrorists admitted to the attacks, so many people died, and there's no evidence against the government.
The charging planes demolished the towers, as millions of people gazed at the rubble collapsing to the ground. Consequently, bodies were flying as the tower had its last stand. Screaming can be heard from a distance, as reporters were recording all the details. The nation was at a stand-still. After intensive investigating, the miscreants were found to be of Middle Eastern descent. After the event of 9/11, perpetrated by people of Middle Eastern heritage, many police departments adopted a prejudiced view of Middle Easterners, stripping away their civil rights.
