In Tibet is a good example of a movie like this. An Austrian man, Heinrich Harrer embarks on a journey through the immense Nanga Parbat mountains, where he finds himself in many difficult situations. As a professional mountain climber, climbing the
Himalayas has always been a dream of his. In his experience in Tibet, he goes through many tough things, including difficulties with his family back home. The group goes on a difficult journey to try and find help. Eventually, Heinrich and Peter lose the rest of their team, and they decide to work together on the rest of their escape.
Peter and Heinrich end up in the capital city Lhasa, a holy place that is forbidden to foreigners. However, they allegedly have a message from the Dalai Lama giving them access into the city and a photo of the Dalai Lama, so they were allowed in. In a search for food, they come across a bowl of dog food and begin eating it. The owner sees that they are very hungry, and allows them to stay at his house. People begin to find out that there were foreigners in a place forbidden to them, and that gave them a sense of fame amongst the people in Lhasa. They get specially made suits for themselves, and they meet a tailor who Peter will end up marrying. Heinrich becomes close to the Dalai Lama, and starts thinking of him as a son. He builds him a movie theater and teaches him about European culture. The Dalai Lama also teaches him many things, and he learns about being humble, compassionate, and having humility.

Heinrich didn’t understand why, but they believed that they shouldn’t harm any animals. Heinrich was getting frustrated, and didn't know why they were so concerned with something as small as an earthworm.
The people believed that these animals could be there mothers or loved ones in a past life, so they should not kill them. This shows the Tibetian people’s values and beliefs and shows that they care for all life, no matter what it is. They value everything and believe all life has a purpose
