Now, why so much interest in being THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY, COMPANY, GROUP, PERSON, Etcetera? The book 1984 presents a highly controlled society, a society which is not allowed to think, feel emotions or question "Big Brother's" word. As long as time has gone we have been able to observe the changes power generates in us humans and the terrible disease that ignorance is.
