Growing up children and adolescences learn many thing from how to write their names to riding a bike. One of the principal pieces of information young students learn from a classroom is proper sexual education. Sexual education is one of the few things taught in schools that will truly affect the rest of their young teen and adult lives. Education for this subject matter has many facets and ideas that are not completely covered or truly even talked about in many schools around the country. But it can be argued that even if it does not happen every time a student has sex - given true education with no bias other than wanting to learn proper use of one’s sexual freedom - that more than 99% of women use some form of contraceptive at least once. (Lowen "2011 Statistics on Teen Sex & Contraceptives" 2) Not to play devil’s advocate but sometimes people make stupid mistakes and have unprotected sex but at least if those people go into a situation about to have unprotected sex they will have the knowledge to stop and do the responsible
