The dangers of the internet
Privacy is a thing of the past because of social media and the internet. Every day millions of people fall victim to identity theft, fraud and are put in danger. This is because of how many people carelessly post all their information online as well as companies tracking it. The information that people post and companies track include locations, plans, and even addresses. This information is private yet now more than ever it is easily accessed online because of what we post and where we post it. Our privacy is not what it used to be and this is due to the carelessness of what we post online and because of the way companies access our information without our full permission.

Or why when looking for a nice vacation they would like to take, and realize they cannot afford it, they are haunted by it for months afterwards. “Google, Yahoo, Face...

Privacy is a thing of the past because of social media and the internet. Our privacy is not what it used to be. This is due to the carelessness of what we post online and because of the way companies access our information without our full permission. Advertisers have full control on what they do with our personal information, and it is seldom tracked. The internet has truly become a dangerous place. To keep safe, we must be careful of what we post online and who we give our information to.
