Today we live in a world of technology. One of the biggest technology is the camera. Cameras found in almost everything. With all this technology there are also various types of photography out there. One of the most interesting kind is commercial photography. Specifically food commercial photography. These photographers in the food photography filed can take any old meal and make is look beautiful.
When doing food photography it used to be from the eater's point of view. So it did not always look as appetizing as it could of. Over time the different perspective shots came about. Styling it takes some preparation. They stylist thinks about the colors that go good together and the patterns in the food. When styling the food to make it look perfect under the light, the food may not be edible. The stylist use tricks like using motor oil for syrups and gravies. This is because under the light the coloring of normal syrups or gravies. Another example is they will use mashed potatoes for ice cream so the ice cream does not melt under the light.
The photographers in this field have a lot in common. With these similarities they also have their difference, their things that make them unique There are many photographers in this fields but three stand out more than any. Penny De Los Santos, Béatrice Peltre and Mowie Kay.

For my museum selection I decided to attend Texas State University’s Wittliff Collection. When I arrived, there was no one else there besides me and the librarian. To be honest, I probably would have never gone to an art museum if my teacher didn’t require me to. This was my first time attending the Wittliff Collection, thus I asked the librarian, “Is there any other artwork besides Southwestern and Mexican photography?” She answered, “No, the Wittliff is known only for Southwestern and Mexican photography.” I smiled with a sense of embarrassment and continued to view the different photos. As I walked through Wittliff, I became overwhelmed with all of the different types of photography. There were so many amazing pieces that it became difficult to select which one to write about. However, I finally managed to choose three unique photography pieces by Alinka Echeverria, Geoff Winningham, and Keith Carter.

Bittman also develops pathos in this article because he grabs a widely held matter that to many individuals is elaborate with: "...giving them the gift of appreciating the pleasures of nourishing one another and enjoying that nourishment together.” (Mark Bittman) Bittman gives the reader the actions to think about the last time they had a family dinner and further imposes how these family dinners are altogether important for family time. Therefore, Bittman did a magnificent job in pointing into the morals of his targeted audience and developing a critical point of view about fast food to his intended audience leaving them with a thought on less fast food and more home prepared meals.
Create-a-meal, no my friend, instead you are given the tools to create-a-setting. You are presented with brilliant horses and jubilant music, bright colors and beautiful scenery, a blissful introduction, indeed. Shockingly enough, in the second paragraph it is quickly taken away from you. A dagger penetrates your balloon image. You are told that the smiles and happiness of the city are not genuine. Ursula K.
Cindy Sherman and Frida Kahlo were pioneers when it came to artistic creativity and relating to femininity. Without these two female self-portraiture artists, art wouldn’t be what it is today. They had definite differences when it came to their style, but in the end when it came to the purpose they both wanted to use stylistic conventions during their time and they also wanted to change those conventions. Whether it was the background or the character portrayed they have their own defined style and that makes these two women memorable artists.
As I skim through American Photo, I finally come to an article on "The 25 Most Important Photographers Now." There's a nice introduction on the first page, about what this article is about, and on the bottom-left corner it starts with the first photographer in the list, Gilles Bensimon. The article has a nice layout, including a picture by each photographer and their name headlined above or below, and each photographer also has a good-sized paragraph about himself or herself.
Carrie Mae Weems is an eclectic artist dedicated to exploring the themes of family, gender, racism, and class in America. Although she is well known in the creative community for her revolutionary photography series, she is also an award-winning artist who has worked with textiles, video, and more. Lorna Simpson is an innovative, multimedia artist who revolutionized the art world with her introduction of photography installations featuring text. Her work explored stereotypes of race and gender, most often with an emphasis on African American women.
Penn has won renown as much in editorial photography as in advertising illustration, and his innovations especially in portraits and still life have set him apart stylistically. In later years, he turned to television commercials as an outlet for his unique talent. One of the most imitated among contemporary photographers, his work has been widely recognized and applauded.

A food label is a source of advertising a food product. Manufacturers try their best to make their product food label as attractive as possible, by using bright colours, bold text, food claims, and a lot of information. Too much information on a food label might have caused a lot of painful headaches for consumers; but it's all worth it, due to many health and nutrition problems. By law, manufacturers must abide by the standard code terms of what is put on their food label. By this, a food label must have no false claims or information, be in English and legible and easy to see. Also must contain a barcode, name of food, list of ingredients in descending order of weight, net weight, any additives in the food, country of origin, use of imported ingredients, name and address of manufacturer, date marking and nutrition panel if any claims are made.
Food—it is that precious substance our bodies need to survive. Whether it brings feelings of nostalgia and comfort, or unites families together, we can all agree that food is a vital source of nourishment. However, our definition of food has changed drastically with the advent of modern technology, which has given rise countless food trends. The desire for the cheap mass-production of food has induced an unspoken transition from slow cooked chicken and steamed veggies to frozen tv-dinners disguised to look like actual food worthy of consumption. Hence, food trends and technology effects the way we produce, purchase, and consume food in the United States.
An extremely peculiar video, which cannot be quite considered as a traditional part of our daily lives. “Next Floor,” also known as the “Moveable Feast”, is a short film released on 2008, in Canada, created by Phoebe Greenberg’s brilliant mind, containing grotesque aspects of eleven exorbitantly wealthy individuals with avid consuming minds and ideals, showing a sequence of unexpected events upbringing the endless consume of meat in abundance, definitely fulfilling total unnecessary needs of hunger. A film which many critics/bloggers have found “macabre” (Maurie Ayloff, northernstars.ca) or even black comedy (Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post). Personification is precisely used in this short film, for a better description of the scenario itself. The gloomy and dark scenario given to the video, besides its mysterious and quite intense music in the background, gives off a surrealistic situation as the waiters in the room present a variety of dishes of all kinds, a bizarre fare of meat after other meat dishes, non-stop.
Time has a way of exposing frauds, and such was the case with these deceitful photographers. Over the decades, genuine researchers and photographers sprung up. Because of the beginnings of their profession, they came under much scrutiny and still do to this day. But in the current
