One reason I believe the executives should not be so optimistic about the future of Creamy Creations is that many of their customers were getting their orders “to go.” I believe that is partly because of the focus mostly on efficiency instead of the friendliness that was employed by the previous owner. I also believe that taking away some of the more exotic toppings will drive some customers away because they will not be able to make their ice cream the way that they might like to. A future pitfall for the Burger Barn executives could be the amount of turnover with their employees. With the high rate of turnover, we would need to find a way to lower that and make sure the employees are feeling like they are valuable members of the business. I predict that I would find out that the employees don’t feel that they are treated well enough and getting rewarded for their liking. I think that they feel undervalued and disrespected and that causes the high turnover. They should try to hire Maria to a long term-contract, but with the same guidelines they would use when hiring any other teacher to a long-term contract. The school board needs to create a sense of unity between themselves and the teachers and create an environment that all teachers are of equal value. They should recommend that the school board come up with an outline for salary, benefits and expectations, that they can use for newly hired teachers. The school board should also create ways to unify the staff of the school.
