Animal experimentation on cosmetic
Nowadays, over 100milion animals are forcefully killed in American labs to make new cosmetics. This is a typical image of animal testing that refers to an experiment on animals for the sake of the develpment of products such as medicine, cosmetics, and food additives. One animal experiment reports that it "includes tests for skin or eye irritation, skin sensitisation (allergy), toxicity (poisoning), mutagenicity (genetic damage), embryonic or fetal genetic damage and toxicokinetics (to study the absorption, metabolism, distribution and excretion of the substance)" ("The European Coalition To End Animal experiments," n.d.). Another surprising thing is over 90% of animal on testing are counted according to the official statistics of animal tested. Experimentation on cosmetic products is even more controversial because it is not necessary for products like medicine. Although testing on animal for medicine may save their lives, it is the different case to animal testing for cosmetics. In animal testing for cosmetics product development,

If they change to non-animal, they don 't need their animal testing facilities so they will suffer an enormous loss. However, opponent of animal experimentation argue that it doesn 't work because human and animal have a different body organization. There are many examples of side-effect products through animal testing. Animal testing is destroyed our environment because of incineration of animal carcasses, experimental chemicals and other toxin. It results in air pollution, water pollution and soil contamination. They claim that we have to protect animal rights because animals are same creatures as human. Many alternative modern sicence experimentaions have been developed and it also cheaper than animal experimentation.
