When I was about ten years old, I knew I one day wanted to be my own boss. It seems pretty crazy to want something so powerful at such a young age. Ten years later I still have that same desire. There is no doubt I have passion for leadership. Was I just born to be successful? No, no one is born to be successful. You can have all the passion in the world and that wont be enough. If you look at the definition of success, it says, “The accomplishment of an aim or purpose.” We create success on our own. Know one gives it to us and it sure as hell doesn’t just happen. I remember always feeling crappy about myself. I was the person who would complain about how I felt about myself. I would do nothing to change something so negative in my life. I don’t remember exactly when I was tired of feeling that way. I just remember taking action. I began studying personal development. I taught myself how to love myself without the acceptance of others. Although I still struggle from time to time. Overall I am fixing an issue in my life. I will forever believe change is always possible. The education part of change can be the most rewarding. However, if you haven’t noticed life is not one big high school. There is no teacher providing you with every decision you need to make to accomplish something. So without a teacher that means its up to you. You need to make the push to change what you want changed. There are so many resources that you can take advantage of. Information is surrounding us. Its just not brought to our attention on how we’re supposed to use it. There isn’t someone directly telling you how to use it either. Its up to you. You’re probably going to be pushed out of your comfort zone. It’s a challenge changing what you know. When I began self development I found myself pushed time and time again. I was asking my self to believe in something new. There’s nothing wrong with pushing yourself. The outcome of succeeding and making yourself happy is an amazing feeling! There are tons of books on ways to change your life. If you learn to follow their actions, what do you think comes next? Results! Learn to study the lives of other people. Find someone who has the same desire or issue as you. I guarantee you there is something out there! Then there’s the internet! The internet can be your best friend. The more you dedicate to studying the more information you will find. Wait, what happened to “don’t trust what you read on the internet’? I mean we have been hearing this since we were kids. When you explore the professional pages of the internet you might learn to love it. A majority of my study time consist of me reading blogs. There are tons of intelligent people on the internet. People who want to share their story and help others. Like I said dedicate some study time and you will learn how to filter out un-needed
