A man who had a girlfriend simply posted his Women crush Wednesday (WCW). Derrick Kingston who was 24, from Memphis Tennessee was murdered by his girlfriend after posting his #WCW. Derrick and his girlfriend who is Nikki Mendoza shared an apartment together. While Derrick was fast asleep, she stabbed him. Friends of them both stated that they were the “jealous type”. Nikki was found in her bath tube bathing, while her dead boyfriend on the bed lying in a pool of blood. Apparently Derrick’s besfriend made a public statement about the case and said that Derrick sent him the picture of the girl he posted as his WCW. She had previously sent Derrick some nudes and that she lives in another state. The girl (Nikki) she felt violated, not only will she had been embarrass after her boyfriend posted a picture of another girl as his crush, but not to mention they lived together. So obviously she and Derrick took the next step in the relationship. The way people behave in the social networks it can make one go crazy and perhaps suicidal. People have taking things such as liking a certain picture to the next level, and these things implant on most people minds, and go crazy. This event is clearly psychological in every way. Psychologically Nikki felt no remorse about what she had done. Jealousy and rage dominated her, to the point that she had token her boyfriend’s life. Jean Kilbourne’s “Two Way a Woman Can Get Hurt: Advertising and Violence” is a section of a book titled: “Deadly Persuasion: Why Women and Girls Must Fight the Addictive Power of Advertising” that was originally published in 1999. It is about the images of women that advertisements illustrate. The central claim or thesis of the document is that: “advertising helps to create a climate in which certain attitudes and values flourish and it plays a role in shaping people’s ideas” (paraphrase). The author wants people by all genders and young children to acknowledge a right attitude towards what is shown in the advertisements so that the standards of behavior will not be influenced. As a result, it enables the negative contribution from the advertisements to be limited or eliminated.

In the year 1869, John Stuart Mill published a controversial essay, “The Subjection of Women”, that advocated equality between sexes in a male-dominant society. In this essay, I will demonstrate that Mill’s analysis regarding the systematic subjection of women, by an education system producing conventional “womanly” characters favorable to men, is correct. However, I will argue that this analysis does not apply to today due to the advancement of the political rights and powers, progression of social equality, and improved economic conditions of women in countries with high education indexes. The education index is referring to the statistics on literacy rate, gross enrollment ratios, and other factors compiled by the UN that determine which countries have exemplary education.
