Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sophia. She lived with her mother, and they had gone broke after their father had been murdered. Her mother had described the woman who killed her father to sophia. After what had happened to her father, her mother has been a little off. She had bad mood swings and treated Sophia poorly. The woman had always worn something red. She had done this because when she killed her victims the red blood wouldn't show. She had described her because if she had ever came across the woman to run and call the police. Sophia had short black hair with a red, white, and blue dress on. As an 11 year old she was in love with animals. Today her mother and Sophia were heading to the market. She was stomping all …show more content…
Then a couch right in between the two, and out in front of the couch there was a little table. Then I noticed something a little strange, there was a spell book on that tiny table. But I just wanted to go outside and play with the little boys next door. “Your home is very pleasant.” I said while glancing around once more. “But if you'll excuse me I want to meet the little boys next door.” I walked out of the tiny cottage and headed over to meet the boys. On my way over there I tried to think of a way to get her back for what she did to my family. I knocked on the tiny door and no one answered. So I knocked again, again, again, and again. Until finally some grouchy tiny man opened the door. He was wearing a yellow long sleeve shirt and some blue jeans that were worn out. His hair was a mess and you could tell he tried to cover it up with his hat. He had a beard and some glasses but he still squinted as if he didn't have them on. “What. What do you want?” He glanced me up and down and frowned. “Hello sir. I am now living with the little old lady, Red, next door. She was telling me how there are 7 little boys next door, I was going to introduce …show more content…
At this point she was thinking about her mom and what she had always told her about life. Then remembered about her father, and also remembered what her mother told her. Sophia started to cry and she then remembered about how her mother described the woman who murdered her father. Why can’t i remember what the women looked like? While Sophia was deep in thought the door swung wide open, but she kept the thought of the women who killed her father in the back of her mind. The grumpy man looked at her “There not busy so come on in.” Sophia walked in and the tiny house had grew while she was in it. She screahed at the top of her lungs, “AGHHH!! IS THIS SOME SORT OF WITCHCRAFT!!!” she ran out of the house. The guy came back to the door, “Sorry i forgot to warn you, we all have powers. Don't freak out though because we don't use them to hurt anyone, only for our uses.” “Oh then i guess it is alright.” She smirked. She re-entered the home once again, this time she didn't scream. Once again the house grew and she looked like a little kid who had just seen a whole mountain of candy. They had two tiny green chairs, and straight ahead was a ginormous kitchen which all of the boys where in. “This is, what is your name again?” He questioned
When Alice’s rape is discussed, Jane feels anxious and goes into panic attacks. During these attacks, Jane is in an unstable state of mind, and she cannot function properly. Normally, a teenage girl seeks out her mother for guidance in a time of need. However, in this situation, the mother/daughter roles are reversed, and Alice must comfort Jane. While Jane is having a difficult time with the rape, Alice had to step up and support her mother.
The boy responded kindly, “I am Kent Palace and I am sixteen years old. I hail from the land of Palaces in Topeka, Kansas. I have been sent this way to find the blacksmith named Xavier Bon who provides people with anything a blacksmith can make.”
My name is JB. I’m eleven years old, and I live in a town called Witch Brooke. It’s named this because there’s an actual witch in our town, and I’m unlucky enough to have her house right across the street. It’s been years since anyone has seen her. Her name is Bathsheba. I’ve always been curious about what it looks like inside her house. That is why I’ve decided to break in and take a look inside.
To begin with Abigail and I have been bestfriends since Pre-K. We were like two peas in a pod. From the first time we encountered one another our friendship became solid. However, like in any friendships or relationships there will be times when you dont see eye to eye. I guess this was one of those times.
Oh trust me, it's true. Isabelle might be the most ticklish person I've ever seen.
One responsibility that I had to take on was very tough for me. I have a dog named Maggie Lou, that my mom and dad took care of. I didn't think it was very hard, but sadly, I was wrong. On one normal day my mom and dad said, “you have to take care of Maggie.” Then after I said “how hard could it be?”
“Straining his eyes, he saw the lean figure of General Zaroff. Then... everything went dark. Maggie woke up in her bed. “Finally woke up from that nightmare. Man… I miss my brother. Who was that person that my brother wanted to kill?” she looks at the clock and its 9:15am “Crap I’m late for work!” Maggie got in her car and drove to the hospital for work.
After Precious gave birth to her first child her grandmother took the child and raised him herself. This seemed like a good idea for the child to be raised in a home where he would not be abused, however the grandmother left Precious in the broken home. Through the act of abandoning the abused teenager, Precious felt that her family disregarded her and did not want to help her escape. This belief eventually leads Precious to leave her broken home and move into a home for abused mothers, instead of living with her
She ran down the stairs to put her bags in the car. She looked around for her mother but she was no where in sight. Poor, naive little girl doesn’t she know the real monster her mother is? She greeted her best friend and got in the car.
Meghan Brewer Meghan Brewer, she may not be a household name. But to me she's everything. So If I had to pick one word for her it would be... Extraordinary.

Throughout the extract, at the end of each characters story, the camera pulls back into a birds eye view, showing them curled up in a fetal position. This idea demonstrates that each character in their own way resembles a child. This is reflected when Tyrone C. Love (Marlon Wayans) is lying on his bed in prison. As when he is curled up in a fetal position and crying, an image of himself as a young child being cuddled by his mother appears side by side next to him as an adult, as shown in the image below. This editing enables spectators see that Tyrone, similar to his young self, is yet again vulnerable and in need of someone to care for him during his withdrawal from drugs.
Sitting across from me I noticed an old woman with white hair and round glasses looking at me as if I had killed her children or ruined her marriage. The old woman was wearing a purple moo moo decorated with poorly drawn roses that looked like something a kindergartner would finger paint. I knew this woman from somewhere, but I couldn't remember what her name was until I noticed the neon pink bunny slippers she was wearing. That old cranky woman was Penelope’s mother Harriet Shepherd who didn't like me before I died which means she has to despises me now since I abandoned her daughter for thirty years. Now that I think about it my subconscious was kind of hoping she wouldn't be around not dead just in a coma or locked inside a plastic bubble.
TED CRITIQUE #1: Doherty, Olivia I think that the topic Olivia chose was very interesting because in her attention getter she listed some fun facts about this disease and that there is no cure. Olivia’s topic was appropriately leveled. I think that her content was just right. This disease is very complicated because there is no cure
Her mother’s beauty was everlasting until she died at 81 years old. Also, she talked about how she stopped taking her medication and then gradually got better. She had been off drugs for 21 days. So now she could be able to do much more. All that she wanted was to make her husband happy and see how the church she liked and the preacher who would talk to her.
