Part 1 “Leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal”. For this goal to be achieved, mutual cooperation and cohesive behaviour is important. Whatever the leader does, affects its followers. Issues can occur when becoming a leader. These issues can be external, internal and from the challenges of leadership itself. External challenges can mean lack of funding, opposition from community, interpersonal problems or competition from other organizations. Internal challenges can happen based on our emotions such as fear, lack of confidence and insecurity within the organization. Challenges that arise from leadership itself are simply based on the responsibilities that are carried by the leaders. With too much responsibility, one can become burdened and pressured which can lead to issues within the organization.

Also, if the school board knows that parents are more familiar with the current student care, the school would reconsider and keep Pro-Teach on the priority list. The positive impact on this situation displays that the protagonist had shown good and proper leadership skills that led helped the student care to stay.

Displaying the right leadership skills is always important in an organization or in a team. Without proper and appropriate leadership skills, the team or organization can become corrupted without a specific direction to do tasks and also can result in goals and tasks to be unachievable. However, while displaying leadership skills, a leader should also display affection and understanding towards subordinates.
