1. Using the 4 R's, provide examples as to how you can follow each of these principles. Reduce the amount of packaging by purchasing concentrates

5. What kind of recycling program does your community have? The only things that I know its donating clothes and having those blie recycle bins.

7. Explain the NIMBY concept in terms of solid and/or hazardous waste issues. "Not In My Back Yard" or Nimby. The NIMBY stops the construction of new environment sites and they force HW facilities to be built. 8. Discuss hazardous waste disposal and some of the federal regulations. 9. What are some of the risks that hazardous waste can have on one's health? Water can be contaminated while swimming or showering when it id=s direct with our bodies or skin. Air can occur when people breathe in hazardous chemical vapors while inside or outside a very hazardous facorty like. Food can be exposed to hazardous chemicals through the food they eat.

10. In your opinion, what do you think would be the most effective solution to our "trash" problem? Should this take place at a community, state or national level? Provide examples to support your answer. I think this should be taken place at a national level because honstly peole now really don't care as much as they use too because where I live there it a lot of trash in the country. I also think that in a national level maybe they can be a bit more strict than the state and community combined togeather.
