Do Kids have too much Homework I think kids have way too much homework a lot of them get in trouble for not finishing it that puts stress on these kids which makes them super stressed out so they have to stay up later and now they're sleep deprived so they don't get as much work done in school now they have to stay up later and i know what you're thinking if they had got it done at school this wouldn't be a problem but each class only gets 58 min tops which is not a lot of time and at lunch the kids have to eat some schools have advisory but that is still only 58 min tops which makes kids even more stressed out the students are not to blame the school board, teachers, and staff are i mean kids are killing themselves because of this stress
Many people often say that students, teachers, and parents, think homework should be banned, but multiple people disagree. This heated topic has been debated for many years. Some parents and teachers think students have too much. However, some believe their students receive too little. Few schools already have banned homework, but the majority of schools don’t. Some people agree with having ten minutes multiplied by the grade level of the student. As experts continue adding additional facts about homework, it is clear that homework can help students in different ways.

Going to school is something that children do at a young age. The idea of school is ingrained into children at as early as six weeks of age in a daycare. When you think about school one of the first things that pops into people’s mind is homework. Basically if you have asked your parents or your grandparents they would say that they remember the homework load. Now we all know that homework can be beneficial but also can be very unhealthy with all of the stress that it causes. Over the years the homework load has increased because of the fact that schools think that they need to try to keep up with other countries in academics. And will doing all of this homework now be all for nothing later? The homework load has increased these past couple of years and it is causing a lot of stress on kids and overall is not helping their academics in the long run.
The arts department needs funding for the students and the students need supplies. some schools actually have trouble keeping the art department funded and still thinks it's important to keep due to the football and sports outcry when the sports teams gets a little budget cuts.The art department needs more funding in schools because kids need outlets to express their emotions.School district without the arts leave many students without an outlet for the creative capabilities and without options for expression of their talents. schools districts struggle to avoid deficit spending districts superintendents are looking for ways to save money.

Students should have a balance of street smarts and book smarts so they can be successful in whichever career they may choose. If the typical education focuses on teaching the students only certain areas they may or may not use, then how will the students be completely prepare for life? If education is supposed to prepare students for life, then can anyone really limit or define education? Can I ask you a question? Do you enjoy recess and lunch? Well, I do. The reason why I'm asking you this is because some school has very small amount of time for recess and lunch, and school may not have recess nor lunch. Changing the school schedule to a later start time would result in many other changes affecting a lot of people. Homework is for suckers. Homework causes stress for students as well as for parents. Homework is extremely demanding and many students are spending far too many hours after school to complete their homework assignments. Although, some students may be able to whiz right through their homework, other students crawl along struggling at a snail’s pace. Consequently, family time is put on the back burner due to the time constraints of homework. Additionally, any extracurricular activities are also put on hold. Homework is nothing more than a scapegoat for teachers so that they can pawn off their due responsibilities on parents and students. Homework should be banned for students Kindergarten through 8th grade because the negative effects do not out weight the benefits that come from homework.
