The life as a studio manager is what I will be explaining. Studio managers are brought up and they work in a mixture of businesses. But let's disregard the various industries that you can go to school for in studio management. While many people may think a studio manager's job is easy and simple, well it's not, their duties are somewhat complicated. When being a studio manager, you tend make a lot of money; but it depends on the area that you live in. I have some examples of the average salary that you would make in each year. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin the average salary is 47k and in Los Angeles, California the average salary is 56k. In Atlanta, Georgia the average salary is 91k and in Nashville, Tennessee the average salary is 59k. If you do the math you would know a studio manager in Nashville, Tennessee makes around 17.38 per hour. By me showing you these examples I have proved my point. Which is that it really does matter which However, you would need to have the bachelor's degree in music or audio production.These curriculums can educate students on audio technology, sound synthesis and audio fundamentals. In addition if you are a studio manager and want to own a recording studio you will need to have some type of financial background. Some students that get the opportunity, work in music labs, different type of mixing studios and full recording studios. The duties of an audio studio manager are hiring engineers, set-up workers, instrument techs, setting up meetings between clients and engineers,and they schedule recording time for their clients.I would think the day to day routine of a studio manager is long and tiresome.The only degree that is required for being a audio studio manager is a bachelor's degree which takes around 4 years of college.
