The goals that you set for yourself help define who you are as a person. The expectations or goals that you have placed for yourself help you better as a person. The goals that I have set for will help me grow as person in the future. The personal goals that I have set for myself are to graduate high school, start college and get my degree, and get a job and start a family. With the goals I have set for myself, I believe that with hard work good rewards will soon follow. First and foremost, graduating high school is my number one priority at the moment. For this last year I want to better myself academically. My goal is to ultimately try my best in all my classes and be rewarded for hard work. For this last year my grades are going to reflect the colleges that accept me. I would love to have numerous acceptances, so when it comes to choosing where I would like to go, my options will not be as limited. I would also like to improve my GPA for this last year. With a better GPA the possibilities for scholarships would increase. If I get as many scholarships as I am qualified for then hopefully my debt for college will not triumph when I graduate. Having a memorable senior year is important, I also don’t want to forget that the reason I am …show more content…
As of right now, I know I want to go into Criminal Law. My goal is to complete my core classes and do really well trying to earn my degree. With the opportunity of Dual Enrollment, I am already going to be one step ahead and having my english and math college credits by the end of my senior year. I would like to earn my master’s degree and become a detective. As of right now I want to have as much education as my career will allow. I feel that the more education I have, I will have more financial gain with whatever career I follow through with. A big goal I want to accomplish is to graduate college and get my degree in Criminal
My main goal is to get an athletic scholarship. I won't be able to get one though if my grades aren't good and I can't have that happen. Education will be able to help me continue to do what I love. I plan to keep doing what I am doing in school so I can leave Freeburg knowing I am set for the next few years in my academic and sports filled life.
...e of my goals in life; to be able to give back to the community that has seen me grow and to make the people I love proud of me. Although I aspire to be an officer I would really want to go far beyond being a traffic officer or a patrol officer I really hope to reach my goal to work as a federal law enforcer. I grew up watching many television shows such as COPS, criminal minds, cold case, without a trace, and it has always caught my attention to do work closer to criminal profiling, behavioral analysis. Not only did I grow up watching such television shows but I also has a really tough childhood experience that has led to me wanting to make a difference and I know I may not be able to make a huge difference but as long as I am able to help a few citizens that will do for me. My dream has always been to do something great and that is exactly what I will do.
This goal is important to me because it can help me to become a police officer, be more prepared in my career and it can help me to get more money and advance to higher positions within that career. When I had to do my career interview I asked the detective that I was interviewing if it was necessary to have a degree to be a police officer and she said most of the people how have degrees do get more money on their paychecks and that if they were to try for a promotion having a degree can help but it wouldn’t really do much else. After that interview, I knew that I wouldn’t technically need a degree but I decided that I would still get it because I felt that it would help me to learn more about that career field and the laws that they don’t teach in the police academy. This goal has a lot to do with my strengths especially futuristic, adaptability and learner. This ties to futuristic because the decision to college was made in order to have better chances in the future, it ties to adaptability because I would have to adapt to the different challenges I can face when I go to college like the different teachers, classes, and workloads of each semester, and it ties to learner because since I love to learn new things going to college opens opportunities to learn about anything I wanted and take
My my personal goals are to get a 27 on my ACT, have a above a 2.8 GPA, and get a basketball scholarship to ORU. I need to jump into college with alacrity.I plan on reaching these goals by working hard and really focusing in all of my classes every single day and making sure I make enough time in my week to study for all my tests I take. Even if I have antipathy for a class I still need to be inquisitive and ask questions.
The final focus I have, but certainly not the least, is to be successful in my endeavors throughout college. Seeing how much my parents cared for me by seeing them work as hard as they could just so my siblings and I could live a better life gives me all the motivation in the world to work as hard as I can to not only give back to them, but for my future children to live an even better life than I am. The lessons I have learned in my life from both my parents and life experiences have fully prepared me to excel in college. Being a part of honors classes and taking multiple advanced placement classes, I believe I am very ready for the workload to come ahead.
College is the main goal of my life. It is a life dream to go to college to get a degree and get a successful job. Everything that I have done until this point is to get to college. During my senior year I plan to apply to many colleges and to take the SAT's to get into college. My GPA and SAT scores will be crucial for me to get into college. With college I will further my business career, making more successful in the field I enjoy doing.
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.
Criminal law is something I’ve always been interested in, and I have a great passion for it. Becoming a lawyer will be the best way to express my passion as it includes bringing people justice through investigation. My study in various A levels will facilitate my study of law as they have given me the skills required for university. I study A level Law and reading through different cases and understanding how the legal system
The first thing on my list is to graduate high school. I will accomplish this by working hard in my classes to achieve good grades. Being my senior year, I plan to really concentrate on my school work to help get a better grade point average (G.P.A). By earning a higher G.P.A. it can help lead to scholarships,...
I have always wanted to make good grades but I never really set any goals but, then I realized that setting academic goals are way more important than people realize . I then started to set goals like my sophomore year of high school after I did that it really helped me focus on my future and what I wanted for myself. My goals I think pushed me so much more academically they opened my eyes a little bit more. One Goal I set was to graduate High school with a Core 40 diploma, which I did, so that is one goal down and a bunch more to go. My senior year I started applying to college but my main goal was to make into Saint Mary-of-the Woods and when I received my acceptance letter I was ecstatic. So far, I am still trying to figure out my academic goals for college but, I do know for sure that I want to succeed in every single way that I can so I can make a better future for myself. A goal that I made this year is to make the dean’s list every single time, for this I will study so hard for every test, do all of my homework, and ask questions when I have them and maybe even getting a tutor. This challenge will probably be really tough but I believe that I can do it if I put my mind to it, and I tend to be a very determined
I want to become a lawyer because I’ve always been interested in the occupation and I want to help people. To be more specific I want to be a prosecutor. I used to watch shows such as Criminal Minds and Law and Order and I also watched the news. While watching the news, I began to think that not all criminals are getting caught, and they are starting to do more and more things to damage the world. I can’t stand thinking that people are doing horrible things and thinking its okay. I want to be able to put those people in prison where they belong.
Goal setting is key in motivation; goals need to be clear, sharp, and realistic. To make these feel more achievable it is better to break these down into smaller medium-term goals and medium-term goals into short-term goals so that you have a clear connection between what one does every day and their long-term goals.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
When planning for our future it is important to have clear goals in mind and to understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve those goals. My long-term goal is to run my own counseling center and employee at least one other person. Some Skills I already possess that will allow me to succeed with this plan are my ability to relate to people and be consistent in following the steps needed, even though it will be a long and tedious process.
Achieving any goal requires self-discipline. It involves a conscious awareness of our actions and the ability to overcome some of the bad habits that might be holding us. Instilling self- discipline into our lives is not easy task.
