Career and College Research Paper The job I have been interested in since I was a freshmen in high school was a registered nurse (RN). I decided to choose this career because when I was a freshman in highschool I tore my ACL for the first time. I avidly want to study nursing. I feel like being a daft person will help me get along with patients.The nurses were always there to comfort me and made me feel better about the situation I was in. they helped me through the hardest time in my life. At ORU you have to take a four year bachelor of science program to become a nurse. ISo it would take me four years to begin my career. To get into nursing school you must maintain a GPA of 2.5 in all nursing classes as well as a cumulative 2.5 GPA. This school year I need to make sure I do well in all my classes not only in one semester but through the whole school year, make good study habits, and do well on my ACT. My my personal goals are to get a 27 on my ACT, have a above a 2.8 GPA, and get a basketball scholarship to ORU. I need to jump into college with alacrity.I plan on reaching these goals by working hard and really focusing in all of my classes every single day and making sure I make enough time in my week to study for all my tests I take. Even if I have antipathy for a class I still need to be inquisitive and ask questions. By the time I graduate in 2019 I need to have made sure I have accomplished everything single thing I had planned on. I need to research more on what all nurses study and how hard nursing school really is. I could keep my grades up by getting a personal tutor or maybe making friends in college and we could have study group. Being determined throughout high school and college will help you a lot. You have to be willing to do what it takes to do well in college. Playing sports in high school really helps with time management and I think that's something helpful that Ii will take with me to
