Throughout the semester I have seen positive improvements in my health. My goal for this year was/is to get into shape and to make good health habits so that I can easily continue to have them in college. I took this class because I’m interested in becoming a weight loss/management coach and felt that I should be healthy before I try to help others become healthy. With the improvements I have made in just this semester I think I am on the right path to doing so. My goal is to tone and define my muscles all over. Muscular strength and endurance have improved significantly for me. There have been changes made twice in my personal fitness plan to increase the amount of weight and repetitions that I am doing in the weight room because the previous amounts were becoming easy. In the fitness assessment I was able to touch my fingertips together behind my back on both the right and left sides. I would like to start doing more yoga to help me stretch my muscles and become more flexible. There is a lot of room for improvement in my flexibility. Personally I hate running, but I do it anyways. It is really good for your heart and it really does make me feel pretty good about myself after I’m done. Running gets boring, but with the progress I have made, it is so much easier! My fitness test results show that I was in the health fitness zone for aerobic capacity, percent body fat, and body mass index. My percent body fat did not improve much, if at all, and that is what I hope to make a big improvement in. I have several goals for next semester and for my future. My flexibility needs the most improvement and I hope to improve that by picking up yoga. I would like to be able to run an entire 5k by summer so I’m going to try to run more often and do other vigorous exercises. My eating habits aren’t horrible, but I would like to eat even cleaner and not cheat with unhealthy foods as
