It was a hot, humid, but not horrible summer day. My friend had invited me to go somewhere I’d never been before. Six-Flags. I had always heard about how fun it was to go there and how riding a rollercoaster is the best, but I had feared riding one. Due to my fear of heights, I wasn’t fond of the idea of riding high into the sky and the dropping straight down. However, my parents told me it would one of the funnest things I will experience in my life. So, I took the offer. I woke up around 7:30 that morning. I had to get up early since we had planned to arrive there before a major crowd. As my friend, his brother and his mom picked me up, I was anxious for the adventure ahead. We left and headed to our destination. My friends mom had went through the drive-through at McDonalds and picked up some breakfast burritos before she came and got me. I ate one and it was pretty good. After all, it would be the only thing I ate until we got lunch. The drive there was pretty long. It felt longer since I had been so anxious to get there. Finally, we had arrived. As we were parking, I could see the roller coasters going in the sky and hear the screams of people on them. I could also see the water park as well. I sat in the slide and watched the water flowing up and down the slide. I watched and waited for the person in front of me to finish I only got more anxious. Then, the worker told me, “Ready whenever you are,” and I flung myself into the slide. Inside the slide it turned pitch black, so I closed my eyes so that way I wouldn’t get water in my contacts. I started to see some light and arrived at the bottom to see my friend waiting for me. I got up a little worn out and we both decided to head back to his mom. We went back and swam in the wave pool for a little bit then got ready to leave. I was tired, but I wish I could stay the rest of the day
