Traveling to an amusement park is a family’s finest way to bond, but is it worth the time and drive to attend just any amusement park? This essay will compare and contrast Six Flags San Antonio, SeaWorld San Antonio, and Disney World Florida from price range, food, and the variety of rides. Six Flags’s price range, food, and variety of rides is relevant to consider before visiting. To begin with, the pricing at Six Flags could be expensive, but could also be cheap. Shown on the Disney World website, the annual passes are eight hundred, and the daily tickets are one hundred dollars per ticket. The price of tickets are much more expensive for non-residents of Florida. Not to mention, purchasing a plane ticket to Florida can add more to the bill. The food prices at Florida are expensive too. Tuttle, a journalist, mentions, “Food easily costs over $10 per person, per order even at Disney's to-go type restaurants, and sometimes over $50 per person for special meals hosted by characters like Ariel and Winnie the Pooh.” (par.4). Hotels at Disney World cost around one thousand dollars a night. Souvenirs can add an extra thirty dollars. On an empty stomach, Disney world serves unique food. Przygoda, a student at university South Carolina, shows a mouthwatering dessert sold at Disney World, “Kitchen Sink.” (par.2). The Kitchen Sink dessert contains a bowl of ice cream and whip cream with loads of cherries on top. Regardless of the price of the park, Disney World brings smiles to kids all over the world with their live Disney characters, and rides. Disney World holds four parks that total to over fifty rides. Ever since I was a child, my family and I have been Disney fanatics. The Disney empire has created many amazing places, but my favorite location to visit is the Walt Disney World Resort. Every day 50,000 people from all over the world arrive at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to experience the magic. When the park first opened its gates in 1971, 10,000 visitors made their way through. That number has multiplied five-fold and continues to multiply to this day. Since the 1971 opening, over 600 million people have experienced the magic of Disney. In my lifetime, I have visited the park with my family and friends six times. Each visit lasted four days in order to experience all the parks and their unique offerings. When I’m in Disney World, the experience each time is incredible.

My family goes to Disney World at least every four years. Disney, being my family’s go-to destination for vacation, is always packed with tourist from all over the world and is always has humid weather conditions. Sometimes I wonder why we go since we have obviously out grown the amusement park age group. Despite out growing Disney World, many memories have been made from all the trips to Disney World. From walking through rain back to the monorail stations to posing with Belle from Beauty and the Beast at a character dining restaurant. From all the memories made at Disney World, the most vivid thing I can remember is when I lost my family in a sea of people in the Magic Kingdom for less than a minute.

The air was filled with heavenly scents of sweet churros, and I had to get one; it was delectable. Everything at Disneyland seemed perfect and like it was out of a movie. Even as I was about to leave, I got drawn back in; spectacular, bright, colorful fireworks started bursting right over my head, and I could not bring myself to go. My favorite summer vacation was when my Father took me to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact that it was my very first time on an airplane. I cannot recall another time in my life when I experienced so much joy. That trip to Universal Studios was the first time my Father and I actually did something together, just the two of us and was something brought me close to my Father.
